Hello everyone and welcome!
This is my first post on our HEAR In Dallas blog. Actually this is my first post on any blog. I want to start out by thanking little Jillian's mom, Linda Smith, for building this blog so we can all stay in contact with one another and keep each other up to date on our kids' progress and upcoming conferences and get togethers. We can use it for whatever you like...posting about new research findings, new technologies, or anything related to the kids.
Please tell any parents in my practice about this so they can join. If anyone has any questions about how to get on, just have them email me and I'll direct it to the right person.
I'm looking forward to connecting with all of you.

Hi Linda! I see your first post so let me tell you how everyone can follow along. First, on the right hand side you will see a section called "Subscribe to HEAR in Dallas". Anyone who is interested in the blog can select the "Posts" button which will open a new window and ask for your email address. This creates what they call an RSS Feed. Everytime a post is written, it will automatically send people a notification and a brief introduction about the recent post. Second, everyone is welcome to leave a comment to any post just like I am doing now. Finally, there is a new addition to the blog that allows people to "follow" the blog. It is similar to Twitter but made specifically for Blogging. A person can sign up to "follow" the blog by signing up for Google and clicking the "Follow" button on the right hand side of the blog posts.
